ALGUNAS REFLEXIONES EN TORNO AL PERFECCIONAMIENTO DEL DISEÑO CURRICULAR DE LA CARRERA DE INGENIERÍA EN SISTEMAS DE LA UNIVERSIDAD LAICA ELOY ALFARO DE MANABÍ

Resumen

El perfeccionamiento del diseño curricular de la carrera de Ingeniería en Sistemas constituye un proceso reflexivo y sistémico, porque  permite valorar la necesidad de realizar las transformaciones en la estructura y el plan curricular de la oferta de grado académico para  favorecer la formación de profesionales que se inserten profesionalmente para contribuir al desarrollo socio económico del país y la región en el contexto de las Tecnologías de Información; se estructura en función de las necesidades profesionales de la ingeniería en sistemas por parte de la sociedad en su conjunto y se configura en un sistema de competencias profesionales en los diferentes niveles de concreción del currículo, que exige un constante monitoreo y mejora continua de los componentes curriculares a partir de analizar diferentes vías que contribuyan al perfeccionamiento del diseño curricular con un enfoque sistémico.PALABRAS CLAVES: Ingeniería en Sistemas; Perfeccionamiento; Diseño curricular.SOME REFLECTIONS RELATED WITH THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE CURRICULUM DESIGN OF THE SCHOOL OF SYSTEMS ENGINEERING IN ELOY ALFARO UNIVERSITY OF MANABÍABSTRACTThe improvement of the curriculum in the Engineering Systems is a system and reflective process because it allows to assess the need of changes in the structure and in the curriculum of the offer degree in order to favor the formation of professionals that are inserted professionally to contribute to the socioeconomic development of the country and the region in the context of Information Technology; It is structured according to the professional needs in the system engineering by society as a whole and it is represented on a system of professional skills at different levels of the curriculum that requires constant monitoring and continuous improvement of the curriculum components from analyzing different pathways, that contribute to the improvement of curriculum with a systemic approach.KEYWORDS: Systems engineering; Improvement; Curriculum Design.
