VIRTUAL LABORATORY PROJECTIVE GEOMETRYABSTRACT
This work was carried out in the University of Granma, the principal objective was to contribute to the betterment of the learning process for the students, of the theoretical and practical knowledge that they gave in the Computer Graphics subject, in particular the introduction to Descriptive Geometry topic. Consist in an informatical application that, trough the interaction with the user realize the ortogonal projection of the point and the line in the system of two (2) planes projections (Horizontal and Frontal), given place to the quadrants and in the three (3) planes projection systems (Horizontal, Frontal and Lateral) given place to the octants. Also has the option to test knowledge learnt and the simulation of the methods of deployment of the planes with manual and automatic mode even the possibility of storage examples executed. The application use the OpenGL (Graphics Library) for the graphical representation of the different geometrics entities on the planes (two dimensions) and in space (three dimensions) and employed the language C/C++ programming, making use of the model of object oriented programming which was based creating new abstract types of data to represent the different and necessary geometrical entities. It’s conceived as on desktop application with archive installation that allows personalization in this process.
