PEDAGOGICAL PROFESSIONALIZATION IN UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS: A REQUEST TO ACHIEVE QUALITY IN EDUCATION
ABSTRACT
This paper make an analyzes of the pedagogical professionalization of university professors from education as socialization and learning process aimed at physical, intellectual and ethical development of the individual, so that the student learns is necessary that the teacher must be prepared based on extensive pedagogical conception and mastery of educational categories in order to organize and execute properly teaching-learning process, in this way the student will assimilate what the teacher wants to teach, if the professor knows of Psycho educational aspects, and knows why, what, how and with what to teach and how to assess, the results will be positive, it is essential to know how the student learns in order to the teacher to adopt teaching strategies relevant. The exercise of university teaching has its peculiarities, teachers generally have access to the cathedra for being a professional, but devoid of pedagogical and didactic knowledge, they do not have pedagogical training, then it is up to professionalize college teachers in order to improve the training of future professionals.
