LA FORMACIÓN INVESTIGATIVA DEL ESTUDIANTE DE LA CARRERA DE INGENIERÍA EN SISTEMAS: UNA NECESIDAD EN LA UNIVERSIDAD LAICA ELOY ALFARO DE MANABÍ

Resumen

En el artículo se hace referencia al tratamiento que la investigación formativa en la Facultad de Ciencias Informáticas, carrera de Ingeniería en Sistemas, considerando que es una necesidad palpable en la formación de sus estudiantes; se trata de resaltar la investigación como una función sustantiva de la universidad y además propia del profesor universitario, que contribuye al logro de los fines institucionales, para el cultivo del saber superior, la formación académica y profesional misma del profesor y de los estudiantes, y la respuesta a las demandas de la sociedad. Finalmente se presentan las acciones que desde el mesocurrículo se establecen para fomentar y fortalecer la investigación formativa en estudiantes y docentes.Palabras clave: investigación formativa; formación; competencias.THE INVESTIGATIVE STUDENT TRAINING IN ENGINEERING SYSTEMS CARREER: A NEED TO THE LAY UNIVERSITY ELOY ALFARO FROM MANABÍ ABSTRACTThe article refers to the treatment of formative research at the Faculty of Computer Science, Systems Engineering career, considering it is a palpable need in the students training; it highlights the research as a substantive role of the university and also of the university professor, who contributes to achieve institutional goals, for the growth of higher knowledge, academic and vocational formation of teachers and students, and the response to society demands.
