THE ENTAILMENT WITH THE COLLECTIVITY: A PEDAGOGICAL EXPERIENCE FROM MANABÍ ELOY ALFARO UNIVERSITY
The present paper is part of a doctoral research that carries out the application of instruments in function of a prevalent qualitative methodology, the results indicate that exist inadequacies in the process of entailment management with the collectivity, in which the main focus is the academic process that constitutes the function of entailment with the collectivity; also there are some projects that are carried out with the community but they are not in concordance with what the Institute of Superior Education and Ecuadorian Constitution state. It is noted a general tendency to confuse the actions realized in the community as part of the pre-professional practices with the essence of the entailment with the collectivity as an organized and integral process intended to resolve the social problems of the community. Without a specific time assigned to extra-curricular activities in order to accomplish with the extension process. Understanding the causes, the disinformation of how the entailment with the collectivity works and how it manages in the extension process is the primary cause for which a structured integration has not been achieved yet. The aim of this study is to analyze the entailment with the collectivity as part of the extension process of the Spanish and Literature Career at the Eloy Alfaro University, doing a distinction of how it influences in the integral formation of the future professionals of education.
