DESARROLLO DEL PROYECTO DE VINCULACIÓN “FORTALECIMIENTO DE LA IDENTIDAD” DE LA FACULTAD DE HOTELERÍA Y TURISMO DE LA UNIVERSIDAD LAICA ELOY ALFARO DE MANABÍ

Resumen

La vinculación con la comunidad fortalece las relaciones sociales, culturales y humanas para  con los estudiantes universitarios. Este artículo tiene como objetivo exponer  los resultados obtenidos en el proyecto  de vinculación con la sociedad, “Fortalecimiento de la identidad, tradiciones, arte popular y social para el desarrollo de la comunidad y sus instituciones educativas como aporte formativo de la ciudad de Manta”, que se desarrolló en el periodo académico del año 2015 (I,II), en la Facultad de Hotelería y Turismo,  con estudiantes de la carrera de Hotelería; comparando con al año 2014, donde se presentan aspectos fundamentales como, total de beneficiados y cantidad de unidades educativas visitadas. Se procedió a realizar un análisis cualitativo, descriptivo, no experimental, donde se trabajó con la totalidad de la población. Los resultados obtenidos sobrepasaron las expectativas en números de educandos favorecidos y escuelas visitadas, sin embargo se obtuvo una diferencia poco notable entre los dos años. Es importante destacar que establecer normas prácticas de operación y orientaciones básicas en cuanto al desarrollo de los proyectos, fortalecería el cumplimiento de las metas trazadas en períodos futuros para seguir mostrando resultados satisfactorios con evidencias vitales.PALABRAS CLAVE: vinculación; importancia; identidad cultural.DEVELOPMENT OF THE BINDING PROJECT “IDENTITY STRENGTHENING” FROM THE HOTEL AND TOURISM FACULTY, UNIVERSIDAD LAICA ELOY ALFARO DE MANABÍABSTRACTThe relationship with the community strengthens social, cultural and human relations with university students. A qualitative, descriptive, non-experimental analysis was carried out, where the entire population was worked. The results obtained surpassed the expectations in numbers of favored students and schools visited, however a little difference between the two years was obtained. It is important to emphasize that establishing practical norms of operation and basic orientations regarding the development of the projects, would strengthen the fulfillment of the goals set in future periods to continue showing satisfactory results with vital evidences.KEYWORDS: linkage; importance; cultural identity.
